FAQ
Do I get to choose the images I receive and see all the photos taken?
It is my creative process to cull through all the images taken during our session and choose the absolute best. By best this means not only the sweetest moments or an image where everyone looks picture perfect, but from a technical standpoint as well. Trust me when I tell you that every image in your gallery will be chosen with care and consideration. The only images you will see are finished and frame ready.
How long will it take to get my images?
It will take two weeks for you to gain access to your gallery (not including weddings). An invitation to view your heirloom quality gallery will be sent, from there you can download your images and order prints, cards, canvases etc. directly within your gallery.
Do you offer a wardrobe?
Although I do not offer a wardrobe I will send out a little style guide to help plan. I always suggest moms pick out their outfit first, then style everyone else. Try to stay away from different textures and busy patterns.
What happens if we have to cancel or it rains?
If a cancelation occurs you are entitled to half of the amount paid to J. Stone Photography (not including weddings or collectives), the other half is a non refundable deposit booking fee. If you plan on rescheduling, all monies paid to J. Stone will be credited to the reschedule (reschedule must happen within 3 months). If the session is canceled due to weather, we will reschedule to the next available day.
Do I have to order prints through you?
You do not have to order prints through your gallery. It is my strong recommendation that you do, Pixieset is meant for photographers so their prints and canvases are great quality and you receive 10% through your gallery. It's worth the investment on tangible moments to place around your home. Print release available upon request.
Do you have a studio?
I currently do not have my own studio. I am a natural light photographer and have many beautiful locations I shoot at regularly. I also offer at home sessions which showcase those beautiful moments with your family in the place you spend the most time.
